What's yours

My wife told me what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine.

I told her no but I thought about it. The only things I have are food, and the things she has are clothes. She can eat the food but I can't wear the dresses. I guess it's true...

Still there for you

I heard "Cloudless Day" today by Jay Chou. It brought me back to the days I use to listen to that song walking along Santa Monica in my chef jacket. Walking and thinking about where life would take me? Wondering how work would be that day? Would chef send me on a catering job? Would another food critic come to dinner? Making desserts at Il Grano seems such a long time ago?

I haven't blogged in a long time. I use to write all the time in Xanga. Remember Xanga? Seems like no one writes on there anymore. Seven years ago I wrote "Blood is thicker than water, but loyalty is thicker than blood." It's from the movie My Wife is a Gangster. Who knew I would marry a gangster of a wife like the one I have? Haha, love my wife. She's a spunky one.

It's true. The one thing I learned in life is that titles mean nothing. It's the loyalty you show people that builds relationships. Loyalty doesn't mean you always agree or be nice. I think it sticks out in my mind like what my friend told me once. "I'll be the first to tell you, you wrong, but I'll still be there for you."

I feel like I don't spend enough time to clearly express my thoughts out but that is life. The time you spend thinking about life is the time that life past you by I guess.
